What is RAPPTOR?

RAPPTOR is an open source Semantic Technologies-Enabled Web Application Server for the .Net platform. RAPPTOR integrates relational, hierarchical and even semantic data structures into a common API and offers broad DBMS connectivity through pluggable drivers.

RAPPTOR is ideal for Rapid Application Development (RAD) by letting you concentrate on the development of business layer modules which are loaded into the server as plug-ins.

Nevertheless, RAPPTOR is also an inherently scalable and robust platform for enterprise-grade applications.

RAPPTOR is written in C# and runs with the Mono ECMA-335 CLI and Microsoft .NET.

Online Demo

We now have a basic Demo up and running. It's a Supplier Network Management System where the network is represented by building up an SVG image from Nodes in the System. Data can be manipulated and structures navigated. The data is all stored in Ontology files and is manipulated through SemWeb functionality. As this is only a demo, no entered data will be saved back to the system.
